Dynamic Tasklist 2 - How to implement "Custom" sort?

I see there is a "Custom" option in the Sort by: drop-down list, but there is nothing in the documentation that explains how to use it... Does anyone know the secret?

Isn't as per the custom sorting done by drag and drop of the items in the task list?
