Edit in word download file in read only mode

Hi,

We are facing a typical issue with Confluence. Recently we moved on to Window 7 from Win XP.

Since then 'Edit in Word' option download the file in read only mode.

Please help to fix this issue.

Hi, are you running under SSL? In later versions of the Office Connector you either need SSL or a registry change. Which browser are you using? What version of Confluence are you using?

The link you posted really helped a lot. We are running on Confluence v3.3.3 and Connector is also outdated, the suggested version of Connector works well with 3.4.x and above.

So we're left with no option other than upgrading Confluence.
