Hello there,
I just got the question I'll ask now from a user. so let me be what German people tend to call "Durchlauferhitzer"..
We currently start integrating IPads into our network using Citrix. When someone wants to edit a page in SecureWeb he can type until page is auto saved for the first time. After, it is impossible to edit until page is hardly reloaded. Even then, only until next auto save.
Does anybody know this problem and can tell me a solution or at least a workaround?
Cheers!
Hi Jens,
I’m not too familiar with the way in which Citrix Secure Web works. That said, it sounds like you’re trying to edit Confluence on iPads. If this is indeed what you’re doing, you’ll need to confirm that you’re running Confluence 6.8 or above which is when we started supporting Confluence for mobile devices. You can read more about that below:
If you’re seeing error messages like the one below, you could be experiencing some networking issues with Collaborative Editing:
“Loading the editor's taking longer than usual. Give it a few moments, then refresh your page if it still doesn't load. Speak to your Confluence admin if that doesn't fix it.”
If you are seeing that message, you’ll want to run through the troubleshooting steps in the documentation below to rule out causes:
If you’re only seeing the issue when editing on the iPads, that indicates that either you’re not on a supported version for mobile or something on the Citrix/Network side of things is slowing down the editor.
I hope that information helps! Please feel free to reply with your version and/or more specifics surrounding the issue and I can try to provide more insight.
