Email notification despite page restriction?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Page Restrictions

If a user is subscribed as Watcher to an entire space and I create a restriction (no view, no editing rights) for that user on a certain page in the space he's watching, am I right that he will NOT get any email notifications from that page?

Hi Andreas,

Yes, that's correct. A user who is page-restricted from viewing s page will not receive email notifications from that page or any of its children, nor will searches they attempt be able to locate the page or even make them aware of its existence.
