Hello Arnaud,

This error is commonly related to the usage of the H2 database (embedded) within Confluence. The H2 data is meant to only be used for testing and not production use.

With this said, can you please confirm if you are using the embedded database or a SQL variant?

If you are using the H2 database, it would be suggested to restore your confluence server backup into a supported SQL database. Here are the current supported databases for Confluence 6.12:

Databases

  • PostgreSQL:
    • PostgreSQL 9.3
    • PostgreSQL 9.4
    • PostgreSQL 9.5
    • PostgreSQL 9.6
  • MySQL:
    • MySQL 5.6
    • MySQL 5.7
  • Oracle:
    • Oracle 12c Release 1
    • Oracle 12c Release 2
  • Microsoft SQL Server:
    • SQL Server 2012
    • SQL Server 2014
    • SQL Server 2016
    • SQL Server 2017
  • Azure SQL

Source Documentation is Supported Platforms.

For instructions on how to migrate to another database, please see Migrating to another database.
