Excerpt Macro overrides previous macros?

Hi there,

If I apply the Excerpt macro to a macro that already exists in a page, do the properties of the Excerpt macro override the properties of the existing macro?

Just as an example- if I use the Excerpt macro on a Page Property macro, then run a Page Property Report macro, will Confluence still be able to recognize that the excerpt is a Page Property?

Hello @Meghan Boyd!

The procedure you described entails the necessity to nest macros in Confluence Cloud when using the New Editor (Fabric).

Currently, the nesting of macros is not supported in the New Editor. If you try to place a Page Properties macro inside an Excerpt macro, it will simply place it under the Excerpt macro.
