My page embeds many excerpts and included pages via Include Page and Excerpts macro respectively.
I would like to exclude any heading generated by excerpts or included pages from the TOC.
I don't want anything but the headings of the current page displayed in the TOC.
However, as the included pages and excerpts are of an identical type of page (user guides) their respective headings are also identical to the page they're embedded in.
That is why excluding them via min/max levels does not work. The TOC stays confusingly recursive.
I have also not found a way to use regular expressions.
Is there any way to identify "included / excerpt" by way of regular expressions? Or is there any other way to make imported headings disappear?
Thanks for you help.
CSS might work, try inspecting the page to get the class name for the the excerpt include macro.
Thanks for your reply. I know the class names but unfortunately I don't have access to the CSS. I'll ask our admin to give it a try.
