Hi all,
I am evaluating Spectrums FAQ plugin for Confluence.
Is it possible to change the language of the plugins own texts (e.g. buttons for SUBMIT or SEARCH). They seem not the react on changes of the browsers locale.
Thx a lot!
Hi Victor,
As I said, we are only supporting English for our current version of FAQ plugin.
However, in the few coming weeks, our V2 of the product is planned to be online . Improvements on the look and feel are expected with some new cool features we are planning to add French support the plugin also.
For the german, unfortunately it's not in our roadmap.Generally when a client request a specific language support, we are open of any community help to localize the product. The plugin texts are presented as a <key, value> map and the localizer just need to change the value to the requested language.
If you are interested in helping in the German localization, we can share with you our i18n file and explain all the steps.
Thanks again for you interest and don't hesitate if you have any additional idea or thought.
Melek
We want to use german and french but some characters like à or ä are not working properly. Do you know how to fix this? this would be definitely very helpful for us!
Thanks in advanced

Hey Stefan,
Sorry for the delay to reply on your question. Actually we are following all the requests or improvements for our plugins on our dedicated jira instance [1] and more specifically for FAQ plugin in this Jira project [2]
Concerning your question, unfortunatly, for the moment we are supporting only English but for our FAQ plugin V2 we are targetting an I18n support for major languages.
Can I ask you what language do you want to include? and an other question, do you have any notes or ideas after your tests for our plugin? We are curious about your feedbacks :)
Thanks a lot
Melek
