Failure to start after restart

That's whats causes the server note to respond.

when deleted it works fine but next day when it restarts (server) it fails again.

Can you please let us know where have you set this HOME path? Also, please share the complete error message from the log file (<Confluence_Home_Dir>/logs/atlassian-confluence,log) when you restart the Confluence.

The Home dir is /var/atlassian/application-data/confluence

again i would like to ask this file seasame is it needed if yes what does it do.
