Not sure if this is the right place to post this.
I would like Confluence Code Snippets to support the JQ "language" for syntax highlighting. JQ is a very widely used CLI utility for querying and manipulating JSON and other data interchange formats.
The "language" has a simple syntax, a limited number of built-in functions, and basic variable support, which should make syntax highlighting relatively easy compared to more syntactically complex languages like Java, TypeScript, or Rust.
While basic filters are often passed on the command line as single-quoted strings, more complex filters are often written in *.jq
files, which is where syntax highlighting would be very helpful.
Appreciate it if Atlassian could add support for more languages in Confluence Code Snippets, including JQ.
Please raise your feature request here, might be there already is one.
Hi @Marc - Devoteam I am unable to create an issue in the CONFCLOUD project. In fact, it doesn't even show up in the list of projects.

Just create it in the Confluence DC project and mention its for Cloud.
This is a Jira managed by Atlassian, not by me or others on the community
