File link macro - anything out there?

Does anyone know if there is a "file link" macro out there.

Would like to write something like:

{fileshare}K:\Customer\Specification\a100.doc{fileshare}

getting a clickable link (for Windows Users).

If any other samba / SMB / WindowsShare is given, it should be reformatted for the clients system:

{fileshare}\\Servername\Customer\Specification\a100.doc{fileshare}

will resolve to

smb://Servername/Customer/Specification/a100.doc

for any Unix (Mac, Linux, etc.)

Didn't find anything on https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugins/app/confluence/featured?label=Macros&cost=all

Hi,

Unfortunately it's not possible to link Confluence to the file system. For more information please refer to the following knowledge base documentation. The simplest workaround is to attach it to Confluence and link it, or set up a simple web server that can host the file.

Hope this information helps. Cheers.
