Is it possible to apply any type of formatting to the expand texte when using the expand macro? I came across a discussion thread where the same question has been asked, but has not been answered as yet.

Hi
Can this be done with the HTML Macro as well?

Hi Vicki,
It's many years later now, but I thought it might still help you or others who stumble upon this question.
The expand macro is limited with regards to styling, so we’ve created a Heading Expand macro as part of our toolbox of useful Confluence Cloud macros. It lets you show and hide content under any heading style and also if it should be expanded or collapsed by default.
Try it here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1215202
Keen to know if it helps you out
Tim

I was setting up my page with Expand Heading, but unfortunately I couldn't indent the code blocks & nested expands. I can manually indent all other content except for those and possibly other block-like macros. Would be great if you fix it!

Sure, we'll take a look and see what we can do!
Would you be able to get a screenshot of issue? It'll help us identify what might be causing it.

Is it possible to get ANY sort of formatting options in 4.0? Markup doesn't work inside the macro editor, and if you try to use this macro by inserting markup, it just converts to the macro that disallows any formatting. The most frustrating of these is the inability to change the text indicating the toggle. You can't make it a heading, cannot change the colour. Additionally, there are zero parameters for making hidden sections unique, no parameter for having it be visible or cloaked initially.
Is there something I'm missing on how to actually use any other parameter other than "put text here" on this?
