Gallery macro doesnt exclude/include images as per paramter

we are on Confluence 5.7.3 and I observed that the gallery macro shows always all images attached to a space without respecting the exclude/include parameters. Is that a known feature ?

I guess I need to be more precise: the gallery macro itself displays the pictures correctly. However when you double-click on an image within the gallery and start scrolling in full-screen mode then it shows all pictures on the page which is confusing.
