Hi All,
I am using Chrome to work with Confluence (Works great) However I am a little stuck now. I have presented and Excel Doc into the wiki and have a need for the team to update this document as needed... However majority of us use Chrome
Chrome - "V39.0.2171.99 m" and Confluence V5.6.3
Office 2010 (XLS File)
When attempting to do this in Chrome I get an error - "Firefox or IE is required to use this feature"

Not really sure how to get around this, or what I am missing here. Has anyone else seen this issue? When I load IE - not an issue, but as mentioned, no-one here uses it. Our Firefox downloaded a plug that enabled this... I am wondering if there is the same for Chrome?
Thanks guys!
AK
Hi AK,
Currently it is not possible to edit the office document in the Confluence using the default Confluence feature and plugin as the browser does not support WEBDAV.
There is a open feature request https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-23322 that are used tracked this feature. You might be interested in watching the ticket and upvote it to increase the popularity.
Alternatively, you might consider using a third party plugin Go Edit https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/de.kontextwork.goedit which allow you to edit in the chrome browser as well. I have not tried this plugin however we have received some feedback from the customer which have successfully intergrated this plugin as a workaround.
Hope this helps
Regards,
Jing Hwa
