How can I cancel an account I have created by mistake?

I have created an account by mistake while trying to log into an organisation account.  Creating it was too easy. Cancelling it seems almost impossible!!  Please can someone help me to delete an account?

Hi @Ana Hooper ,

On top of what Valerie said (which is related to cancelling/deleting your subscriptions and organization), here are the docs for deleting your Atlassian account: Delete your Atlassian account 

But yeah - related to subscriptions, it's fairly easy to create new product under new org. As I'm aware, this is being discussed on what would be the best approach there and 'limitations' currently only apply to Enterprise plans.

Hi @Ana Hooper , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question.

I feel your pain! It is quite easy to unintentionally create a site and very slow to get it taken down.

Have no fear, there is documentation that explains what to do - https://support.atlassian.com/subscriptions-and-billing/docs/cancel-a-subscription/ 

Basically, if you created the site, you should be the owner and therefore access the admin.atlassian.com site, the billing and all of that fun stuff. You should be able to cancel the subscription and, after the cooling off period, it should be possible to delete the site.
