Dear Support,

I have written 2 postings for our wiki. They are just drafts. I wanted to share them with my workmates to let them look at it, but when they open the link I shared with it says "You dont't have permission to view this page", but there is no "Request Access" Button.

I don't have a possibility to share my drafts and I don't want to release the drafts.
How can I share my drafts with my workmates now?

I have changed every setting in terms of permission to the most open and accessable option.

Hi @abien ,

Pages in Confluence cannot be shared and worked on collaboratively until they have been published. Once you publish the page you and your coworkers can all edit it together at the same time.

I suggest you publish the page then immediately click the ellipses in the top right corner and select "Restrictions." Once there you can restrict viewing and editing to only those you allow.

Hope this helps,

-Scott

(many years later) - Nowadays, on Confluence Cloud, when you publish a Draft, you are prompted during the publish process for who should be able to view or edit the published article. Much better than having to race to add restrictions before somebody sees the new article and opens it.
