Hi,
I wonder if it is possible to
- copy or move templates from one space to another space and
- to make a space template available for the whole Confluence installation.
Thanks for your help!
Hi Evelin,
I could find this feature open to move space templates to a another space: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-7752
Also, I've created this feature so you could transform a space template into a global template: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-27606
Hope that helps!
Regards,
Rodrigo
Thanks Rodrigo, I voted right now!

Hi Evelin,
Our Add-on Page Tree Creator works a bit different then the Confluence templates. The PTC-templates are based on normal confluence pages. So coping or moving a template is a very easy task.
Try our Live Examples (no registration needed).

Hey,
you can create global templates:

Thanks, yes, I know. My idea was to promote an existing space template to a global template but seemingly there is no GUI option for this. I have to open the space template, copy the content, and paste it into a new global template. I thought I could move the template from one Confluence folder to another one.
