How can I paste a pdf/document without creating an attachment onto a Confluence page?

I don't want these pages that I paste to come up as an attachment, I want the whole page to be parsed out properly.

@Kia Are you trying to insert the content of the PDF or document into a Confluence page?

There are some macros you can use. You can start with this page and look at the macros that apply to your situation: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/use-macros-to-include-media-on-confluence-pages/ 

I have not personally used any of these.

You could try to upload the document/PDF to Google Drive (or similar) then paste the link on the Confluence page. You'll see the smartlink option to embed the doc:
