I am using the Confluence search box in the upper RHS of the screen. I need to I would like to keep the "space" and "type" settings. Our system logs us out every 1/2 hr. How can I retain these settings as default for the search box?
Update:
The best way I've found (actually kudos to Hazwan for finding this - thanks!) is to create a browser bookmark using CQL. An example is below. After pasting it in the browser url window, it add the necessary space and special character escape codes.
http://engconfl.myCompany.com:8090/dosearchsite.action?cql=siteSearch !~ "'Meeting Minutes'" and siteSearch !~ "'Sprint Review'" and space in (MS,NEO) and type = page
Because we are frequently logged our of Confluence , the bookmark keeps my search settings.
Hello @eddie_patton
unfortunately I don't know a way to implement this with Confluence standards. With "iFinder Confluence Search" you can save your search in your own dashboard. There you can find your " last searches ", " saved searches " and " favorite documents ".
iFinder Confluence Search is an alternative powerful search engine for the standard Confluence search (coexist). You can find more information about it in this article.
Best,
Robby

Thanks for the info. I hoped there was a way to search without having to involve our IT department for add-on installations.
iFinder certainly looks like a good product to have.
