I am not able to find any references online that define the smart checklist in story creation.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi
What is "smart checklist"? Some special custom field type? Do you know what input format the field of this type expects when set via REST API?

Hi Alex,
Smart Checklist is the app in JIRA. see below for screenshot.
In my IFTT i want to be able to create the story with a Smart Checklist that references a Smart Checklist template.
"smartchecklist" field is just an example of where i think i need to add it in.
Thanks.

Simple google search reveals the documentation like this https://railsware.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CHKSDC/pages/2352873485/Jira+REST+API.+Read+Write+checklists
You can get an idea what format is expected and how to set a checklist via the API...
ConfiForms here is just a transportation layer - it transports whatever you say it to transport
