Hello

I want to have the date, time and current user name displayed in a PDF exported from Confluence Cloud version.

Apparently the user macro solution (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-do-you-display-current-date-and-time-in-Confluence-using/qaq-p/342395) does not work in the cloud version.

Any other solution?

Hi Roland,

Had you considered using the app Scroll PDF Exporter to export your content from Confluence Cloud?

This app allows you to customise your own specific templates which can then be applied to your Confluence content when exporting. In your use case, you would be able to include placeholders in your template for creation date, export date (which can include the time), creator username and/or full name, and then this information will be included in your exported PDF.

Would this be an option for you? If so, you can view Scroll PDF Exporter on the Atlassian Marketplace here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.k15t.scroll.scroll-pdf/cloud/overview

You will also be able to trial this app in your Cloud instance to see if it fits your requirements.

I hope this information helps.

Thanks, Thomas (K15t Software)

I was about to reply the same thing.

Scroll Exporter has Placeholders which do appear to do what you'er trying to accomplish.

I would recommend this since it's not something you can do natively in Cloud Confluence.

Shannon

Thank you both!

Already tried out the add-on.
This serves my needs perfectly.

Best regards,
Roland
