Hello,
My organization currently using Atlassian Confluence 5.4.3, and i'm trying to find out how can I influence/bias the search results display order. I made some online research, using your support information, and also some practical research by myself, and I found out the following results:
1. The page title influence the search results order - if it contain the main search term it will be shown on top results, and the opposite.
2. If the requested search term appears more than once in the page title - it will be shown on top search results.
3. I'm not sure yet if "Tags" affect search results, or not.
In addition, i'm sure that there is more factors that the search engine' algorithm takes into consideration, and i'll be more than happy to be familiar with those factors, in order to influence and bias one the order of the search results, and to make it more accurate and useful for the users. For example, does page popularity (number of visitors), date of creation/modification, etc influence search results?
Please share any kind of information you have.
Thanks in advance,
Niran.
