Hello:

I want to use Confluence as the help delivery platform. What mechanisms does Confluence have the can allow me to do this?  Note that all customers that would be accessing the space have also have logins for Confluence. We just want to be able to access the space from another application.

Thanks!

Hello Harlo and welcome to the Community!

For setting up a Confluence integration which allows for accessing data from Confluence instance within another platform would be to use the REST API available to you. The REST API will allow you to request content from a Confluence page. You can see the full documentation for the Confluence REST API and additionally the authentication methods as well. Here are Confluence REST API examples you can use to understand how the API works.

Alternatively, if you’re developing an integration for Confluence, we would suggest you check out the Developer Community to get more insight into how to develop within the Atlassian ecosystem.

I hope you find this helpful and it gives insight into how to build integration for Confluence. If this is not what you’re looking for, please provide additional details and I will provide an updated answer.

Regards,
Stephen Sifers
