We assign a task by @mentioning someone but once that task is complete, the person who created the task doesn't receive a notification that their task has been completed.
What is the best way to know your task has been completed, via a notification?
One thing that we do is add a nested bullet under the task and @ mention the person who created the task when the task is complete. The nested bullet gets included as part of the task (in case you ever use Task Report macros). E.g. (a bit tricky without tasks as an option here... but hopefully makes sense!)

We use tasks in our team a lot and found notifications on them to be tricky: either too noisy (so we complete in Edit mode only, which seems to reduce that), or @ mention the person when done. This was our approach to making sure people are notified explicitly (& ensuring that we capture a bit more context on when the task was done). For us it works, but we use tasks off of meeting minutes, and there aren't usually too many; I can see this proposal being a chore if you're completing a lot of tasks (in which case, maybe comment on the page itself once done and @ mention?).
Thanks, I will have to give this a try.
Follow up question. Does using the bullet point and @ mention override the issue where if you are following a page, you don't get notifications for mentions after the first one?
The other issue I am having is that even if people "tag" me I am not receiving a notification of the @ mention.
