How do I add the expand macro to a table?

Deleted user December 10, 2019

In the previous version of Confluence, I was able to place the expand macro within the table. Now, even when I have a row/cell selected, it puts the macro at the bottom of the table. Help! thanks.

Yet another action that is not possible in the "New" / "Fabric" editor!

Though this issue appears in the public-facing issue list as https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-66888

If you want this functionality, vote for the jira ticket (and get ALL of your confluence user friends to vote for it also!.)

This task is showing as "IN PROGRESS", so we may only have to wait 6 to 9 months for it to appear!  (It appears to have been in this state since at least 31 Oct 2019.)

It also looks like we no longer have a choice between the new and old Blank Page. I was using that approach to avoid the above issue. Thanks, Bob.

Doug,

Have you tried grabbing and dragging the Expand macro into a table cell?
