How do I change domains from one email to another?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

I created accounts using an email that is now made redundant. Looking to transfer the domain to the new business email. Was advised to post a question to the community from an employee of atlassian. 

FYI, was not able to find my SIN license number.

Hi @Fuz 

The New Email Address must be released from the New Atlassian account so that the Email Address is available to be used on the Original Account:

  1. Login to ID.atlassian.com with <NEW EMAIL ADDRESS> and change the Email Address to something else; this will free up the Email Address to be used on another Atlassian account
    1. This New Email Address must be something accessible; either a Personal Account or an Email Alias
  2. A verification email will be sent to the Mailbox from Step 1; click on the link to verify the Email Address change
  3. Log out and back into ID.atlassian.com using <OLD EMAIL ADDRESS> and change the Email Address to <NEW EMAIL ADDRESS>
  4. Another verification email will be sent to the <NEW EMAIL ADDRESS>; click on the link to verify the Email Address change.
