How do I copy pages from one site to another?

I have two sites on Confluence cloud, one is meant for development. I would like to copy some pages I made in one to the other. I found a suggestion to create a temp space on one, copy stuff there, export it, then import it in the other site.

But (newbie as I am) I see to be unable to even do that. I found out I cannot simply select the Temp space, I need to type 'temp' first. Then I get my copy in the Temp space. But how do I export/import? I only see export as Word/PDF and no other import anywhere. And export to Word produces a .doc file while import requires a .docx.

Hi @Gerben Wierda !

It sounds like you may be looking at exporting a single page (via the '...' menu in the upper right).

For moving pages from one site to another, you'll actually want to export the whole space to XML. You can do this from the Space Settings menu on the left navigation bar:

Once you're in Space Settings, you'll see that option for "Export space" and from there you can choose XML. This will get you all the pages from that space in one file.

To import (presumably on your test site), you'll need to go to the global Settings by clicking the gear icon in the upper-right part of your screen:

Once in the global settings, scroll down in the left sidebar to find the Import Spaces option. You can then select the export file you have to upload and import it.

Cheers,
Daniel
