How do I create a dropdown box or a select and replace?

I'm creating a work request form where users need to select a request type in a page poperties macro which populates a page properties report. 

Is there a way for me to create a dropdown box or a select and replace so that the entire list (10 or so options) doesn't appear in the page properties report?

You can try our Handy Macros for Confluence app to create drop down sections with multiple custom options. It works perfectly within Page Properties and Page Properties Report. Another benefit of Handy Status (the above-mentioned feature of the app) is that you can change options in your drop down menu in the page view mode.
