How do I delete remove/update "JIRA Links" info button from Requirements page after I delete a Jira Issue?

I noticed the button on the top of the Requirements Page called "JIRA Links" which was nice.  However, I noticed that the # of links indicated includes issues that were later deleted from the page.  For my use case, I did the following.

Part 1

1. Create Requirements Page from Global Template
2. Populate the table with user stories and SAVE
3. Highlight a user story and hover to start Issue Creation macro
1. Confirm generate issues from table and SAVE

Next I made a copy of the page since I wanted a starting point to start a new Requirements Page.

Part 2

1. Select "..." menu --> Copy
2. Rename Page
3. Delete all of the "Issue Links" that were created in the table
4. Modify the requirements in the table and repeat Step 3 in Part 1

The "JIRA Links" includes the issues that were created in Part 1 even though the JIRA Issue/Filters for each User Story were deleted from the page.  I can't find an easy way to remove the deleted issues from being referenced by the handy "JIRA Links" button on the top of the page.

Bonus: Also, I noticed that pictures that I embedded on the page in Part 1 that were deleted in Part 2 are still "embedded" even though they were deleted from the page. I was able to remove these references by selecting the paper clip "Attachments icon at the top of the page and selecting "Delete" for the pictures that were deleted from the page.  It seems this dangling reference should be removed when you delete pictures from a page. However, maybe this feature allows you to reference them later. For example, load a bunch of pictures and then create links to them as you develop your page content.

Not actually an "answer", more of a "me too". A relationship was established between a Jira ticket and a Confluence page:

* The Jira ticket showed the Confluence page as a linked page

* The Confluence page showed a button at the top with 1 linked Jira ticket.

So far so good.

When the Jira ticket was finalised, I severed the link by removing it from the ticket, and I assumed (ha!) that the button which had automagically appeared would disappear. Not so - I still have a button on my Confluence page, showing that it's linked to 0 tickets, which seems pretty pointless. When I click on the link, it displays a message saying "Jira links cannot be displayed. Either you do not have correct Jira permissions or the links have been removed".

Wouldn't it be reasonable to expect that if a button is linking to nothing, it should be removed? Or at least give the page's author the ability to remove it manually?

We have a similar problem with a different use case:  JIRA links created with the macro don't display well so they were changed to regular web links.  Now we have a "JIRA Links" button on just a few pages saying there are only one or two links, when actually there are many more but they're all regular links.  We'd like to get rid of the button because it is misleading.

I suppose a workaround would be to change all regular links to the JIRA into macro links, then change them back again to keep the page display tidy.  Then the buttons would give accurate information, but it's an ugly kludge that would take too long to implement.  Besides, nobody would maintain it in future entries.
