OK, I have reviewed this document:
http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Keyboard+Shortcuts
And I see that when I type [something
That I get an insert link menu.
What I do not see or understand (sorry), is how to be as efficient as I was in wiki markup to type:
[a new page I want to link to and create]
Please advise.
I am sorry if this is documented. I read the docs, with someone reading them along by my side, and I tried it, and I don't get it so far.
(note, must be keyboard only, and not require any memorized shortcuts that are new.... ctrl K and ctrl S are as far as I go!)
Thanks!
Hi Sam,
In 4.2 you should be able to just type:
[a new page I want to link to and create]
and the closing ] should automatically turn the text into a link. If the text inside the []'s is the same as an existing page in the Space then it links to that page, if it doesn't match an existing page it creates a link which will create a new page when it's clicked.
Is that not what's happening?
Andrew.
