How do I embed a video without the multimedia macro in cloud?

I'm still thinking server and am stuck in the cloud. On server I have a big video. I upload the attachment, open the multimedia macro and pick it, easy-peasy. Well, they deprecated the macro for cloud. They say the videos just appear in the page if you drag and drop. But if I don't, how do they appear? Or can they only be embedded with drag and drop? The adding a file link doesn't work like server.

Hi Gregory, 

You can either upload, drag and drop (or even copy and paste from another page) video to Confluence. This will make the video appear embedded on the page.

As you note there isn't yet a way on Cloud to reference a file already uploaded, we're looking at the need for that feature.
