How do I insert jira ticket link into confluence roadmap

When creating a bar in my roadmap I'm able to enter in name of the bar and description. But when I try to click on link and add Jira ticket it doesn't save the link. I like to add the link on the roadmap bar to be able to click on the Jira ticket for more information.

By default, Confluence roadmap macro doesn't allow to link Jira issue.

If you're open to using third-party app, please consider the app Gantt Chart Planner for Confluence. It has Jira integration feature so you link Jira issue, add assignees and track the task progress in real-time (bi-directional sync) :)
