I have created a new page with a deck and set of cards for the first time. I have set everything to default settings but cards have a non white background and the tables are not showing as distinctly. How do I amend the background formats in a simple and easy manner
Hi Matthew, the Card macro is part of Adaptavists Composition add on (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/net.customware.confluence.plugin.composition). I did attempt to locate their issue tracker, now it looks that contact is getting through this page(https://www.servicerocket.com/contact/) it may be worth checking if there is any way of overriding their macro stylesheet with Confluence configurations, or asking for such feature.
Ah, ok. It looks like you are referring to the Composition plugin by ServiceRocket. Is that correct? COuld you include some screenshots to show what he issue is?

Using Deck of Cards and Card Macro. I now have a confluence page with tabs. Each tab is displaying the content of the individual cards. However the format of the content on each card is not the default and as a result the tables and the headers in the tables are not as clear as I would like. I would like the format for the content for each of the cards to be as per a standard page.

What exactly do you mean by deck and set of cards?
