First off, I appologize for asking for help with what may be an awkward question.
I have been asked to migrate a large number of documents (preserving revision history) from our Confluence server to a RedMine server.
I would assume there are 3 possible outcomes here..
1. There is a way to export documents from Confluence with full revision history and migrate them into Redmine so that Redmine retains all of the revision history.
2. There is NO way to preserve revision history in which case the best that can be done is to export all of the documents as flat files into a directory then bulk import them into Redmine.
3. If there is no export tool to bulk export documents from Confluence, then documents must be manually copied out one by one and added to Redmine.
If anyone knows the process for option 1 or 2 then I would help me out a lot if you could share the details.
Thanks in Advance,
Tom
You are right, thats kind of pert to ask this here ;-) but check the webdav- & Commandline INterface docs for your information. The different versions will max. be different pages, however, not inside a document
We are not getting rid of the confluence server, the docs just need to be moved to Redmine for sharing with outside vendors.
That said, could you post the URLs to the 2 docs you reference?
Thanks..
