Since we are changing to Confluence from MS OneNote, I used OneNote for a while and put personal tips in those pages that I use almost every day. How can I set up a personal book or pages document to copy those items into a easily usable/accessible space on my Home Page?

It's common for people to use their personal Confluence space for personal notes or work. You can even change the permissions to that colleagues can't see your notes so they remain private.
You mention tips on specific pages however. Could you expand a bit on what you mean? Are you looking for a way to easily bookmark pages, or an easy way to find them again? Or for tips on how to add comments to pages created by other people?
