How do I unhide the toolbar?

The toolbar is hidden when I edit a page and for the life of me I can't find an option to bring it back. It flashes on the screen when I first go into editor mode and then disappears never to be found again. Please help.

Hi @Jen West and welcome to the Community.

Try the following

1. In the edit mode, select a piece of text (as you'd do for copying). This should bring the bar back.
2. There should be a three dot menu on the right. Click it it and choose one of the options - in line with text / fixed on top. I recommend Fix on Top as the other one is most likely an issue.
3. Save (update) the page.
