So im working with the macro "gliffy" inside confluence. I've been creating a lot of gliffy diagrams at the moment. Somehow i ended up creating to many of the same diagrams with different names. So what i want to do now is to delete some of the recommended gliffy template as shown on the picture.

Is there any way i can "clean" up these recommended  templates? It troubling me because you cant create a new diagram and save it by a name thats already taken.

Hobe you understand my question

Hi Nicolai,

I think Gliffy templates belong to spaces, and in this case, you can manage them (e.g. Edit, Delete), like any other templates in the following place:
[bottom left corner] Space tools -> Content Tools -> Templates -> User Created Templates
And, like space belonged settings if you want to manage them, you need Space Admin permission.

Cheers,

Hello everybody
Thanks for the answers!

I did find a solution through your help.

For those who are interested, you can delete the gliffy templates (as shown on the linked picture) through the "attachments" short cut in the right corner of a page.

Hi Nicolai!

First, here's how to delete a diagram from a Confluence page: https://help.gliffy.com/confluence/Content/GliffyConfluence/Deleting_diagrams.htm?Highlight=delete

When I want to see all the diagrams I've made (regardless of where they're saved), I go to Space Tools in the lower left and select Content Tools, then Attachments. This is the easiest way to see where each diagram lives.

In terms of managing your diagrams and creating versions moving forward, our Server app has a really great version feature! Instead of renaming your diagrams every time you make a change, just click save and it'll populate in a new version number. Then, you can toggle through which versions you want to actually display on the page. More info on this here: https://help.gliffy.com/confluence/Content/GliffyConfluence/Pinning_previous_versions.htm?Highlight=version

I'm not certain how you've been saving things, but when I use versions in this way, it only allows me to use the most recent version of the diagram as a template, so your four "test forlob 2" diagrams that are showing up would only show up as one diagram-starter template. Let me know if that doesn't make sense — I'm happy to make a screen recording. :)

Hi Nicolai,

I'm not sure if you can delete them, but Gliffy does offer a page on Customizing Confluence Templates for Gliffy Diragrams. Cheers!
