What are some ways to ensure that all confluence-users in a particular organization have the same set of plugins installed? Currently, when my teammate set up awesome charts and sent me a link to that page, I was unable to see those charts because I was missing those plugins, is there a way for me to figure out which one of those plugins I'm missing or a way to get everyone in the org to have the same set of plugins?
Plugins are global - if you're working in the same Confluence, you have the same plugins.
I suspect that the problem was that your team-mates had not granted you access to the reports.
@[deleted] as @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- mentioned most of the apps are global. However, some of them can be activate for specific users or groups, but those are just exceptions.
If the app is representing information from other sources (like Jira) the permission restrictions are in place as well, so will need to have access to the data as well.
Also, if the report is based in a filter, the creator of the filter needs to Share the Filter with you or the group or users that need to see the information.
Bottom line, verify the message and see if it is based on permissions.
If you would like to see if the app (add on / plugin) is open for you, test it creating a page and visit the macro browser to see if the app macro is there. If you don't find it, you will probably found one of those restricted macros mentioned above.
