How do you delete users without deleting content that they've written?

If I delete a Confluence user who's created content, what happens to that content?

Hi @Chela Wallace,

Content will be there . Content won't get deleted. It will show as the author is unknown user.

Even though content is there. Suggest you to disable the user instead of deleting the user (as @Ollie Guan suggested)

Hi @Chela Wallace,

Why did you choose to delete these users ? I think it is better to disable these users.

Thanks! I just needed confirmation on whether the content would remain. I didn't delete the user and will pass along to our admin to disable them instead (as a way to reduce the number of licenses).
