How do you get an anchor link from a colored status button to work?

From my dashboard with status bar "buttons", I try to hyperlink it to an anchor link. After saving the status bars go away.

Hi Barbara, you have to add the status button, click on the link button or + -> Link, and add the URL on the web link (3rd option).
