We have multiple instances of JIRA and one instance of Confluence. All have the same user base coming from our internal directory. Can we have multiple app links? Are there user sync issues?
You can link as many JIRA instances as you would like to Confluence. If you have more than one JIRA application link you will notice that Confluence adds a dropdown for any macro that uses JIRA data to select the right instance to connect to.
For clarification purposes, Confluence and JIRA do not sync users through Application Links. This would be done through the JIRA User Server instead. Please see Allowing connections to JIRA for user management for more information on the JIRA User Server.
