I am sure this is an easy tasks but I have I have searched and search the help files with no luck. I have a number of knowledge base articles I have created using the How To Template.  Now all these pages all appear in the side pane under the parent title of 'How to Articles' as follows

  • How to Articles
    • Add a Case
    • Add a Complaint
    • Add a brief
    • Edit a brief

I want to Create other parent titles in my page tree such as Çase Management, Brief Management ..

  • How to Articles
    • Case Management
      • Add a Case
      • Add a Complaint

    • Brief Management
      • Add a brief
      • Edit a brief

I just cant see where to create this Parent Titles

Hi Craig,

I will suggest you to create a new page in same space like create a page with name of  Case Management, Brief Management

After that move the pages to new parent using following

To move or reorder a page:

  1. Go to the space and choose Space tools > Reorder pages from the bottom of the sidebar
  2. Expand the branches to locate the page you want to move
  3. Drag the page to a new position in the tree

If you're using the Documentation theme go to Browse > Pages > Tree and then drag the pages to a new position as above.

Alternatively, you can choose to order a group of child pages alphabetically by choosing the Sort Alphabetically (A-Z) icon. The Sort Alphabetically (A-Z) icon only appears next to the parent page if the page family is currently sorted manually.

If you change your mind, you can use the Undo Sorting icon to revert back to the previous manual page order. This option is only available immediately after sorting the page, while you're still on the Reorder Pages tab, and haven't performed any other action.

Regards,

Sid

Hi Craig,

I think this page has the steps you need to accomplish that type of arrangement. The example's a bit different, but the principles should be the same.
