How to Use the “Document Owner” Macro from the OOTB Meeting Notes Template in my Custom Templates?

Hello,

I’ve noticed that the out-of-the-box “Meeting Notes” template in Confluence includes a macro called “Document Owner.” This macro automatically @mentions (the user) who creates the page, which is super useful.

However, I can't seem to find this macro anywhere when building my own custom templates. I’ve searched through the available macros and documentation but haven’t had any luck figuring out how to add the same functionality.

Given that it works in the standard template, I assume the feature exists and is accessible somehow, but I’m stuck trying to replicate it in my custom templates.

(See attached image for reference.)

@Jan Millán Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

When I opened this template and hover over this item, I can see that this is a variable on the template, not a macro.

The documentOwner variable (as well as the currentDateLozenge variable in the Date section) seems to be a special system variable.

According to the (old, old, old) Jira tickets referenced in this similar question (https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Confluence-questions/Current-Date-Lozenge/qaq-p/909810), these issues are not resolved and no one is working on them.
