Hi Community,

I was hoping to export a cell from a databricks notebook and embed it in a confluence page. The export from databricks gets you an iframe definition. But the standard confluence iframe macro doesn't seem to be compatible with the complicated stuff going on in the databricks generated iframe definition.

It would be nice if Confluence had some databricks compatible macros'

I feel your pain, Gary! Embedding Databricks dashboards in Confluence used to be quite tricky. Fortunately, Databricks has made significant improvements, and their guide on using the iframe macro to embed dashboards is now well-documented: Databricks Guide: Embed a Dashboard. I hope this helps you get started.

If adjusting the iframe settings manually feels cumbersome, or if you'd prefer a more streamlined solution, you might find the Databricks Connector for Confluence app on the Atlassian Marketplace useful (full disclosure: I built it). It’s designed specifically for Databricks users - just insert the /databricks macro and paste your Databricks embed code. The app handles page width and window resizing automatically for a smoother experience.

Feel free to try it out, and if you have any questions or feedback, I'd be happy to help!
