I am trying to create a chart on a table that already exists on a page. I don't know how to add that table to the body of the chart macro. New to Confluence please help. Attached is the screen shot of the page.

Hi Supriya,

You need cut and paste the table so it is inside the Chart From Table Macro. Then the data will appear.

Cheers

Thanks for responding Jason!

The version of confluence my organization has doesn't show the "Table to Chart" macro the option available to me is the "Chart" macro. The Chart macro is not letting me cut and paste the table. Is there an alternate to cut and paste?

Thanks again!

@supriya chadha , sorry for the reeeaaaallly delayed reply. You have probably figured it out by now.

But if not.... the 'Chart' macro works the same. Just enter the table in the macro, like the pic below.

You wil then see the below when you click to edit the 'chart' macro.

Thanks a lot for getting back to me!

Yes, I did figure it out. Although what I did want to do needs the pivot table macro which is not implemented in my organization. :(

Just updating the numbers manually in the chart for now.
