Is it possible to create a dialog box as a part of a page template, the same way Jira Report-> Status report templates work?

Hello Filip, you can make custom blueprints in Confluence, that does something similar.

  1. Go to the Global Templates and Blueprint page, (ConfluenceBaseURL)/pages/templates2/listglobaltemplates.action
  2. Click on *Add global page template*, and create a new Page template, giving it a name and adding in some custom variables, using the "$" sign as below.blueprint1.PNG
  3. Save that, and now when you click on the ... icon, next to Create, you will have an option to use the template created above, like below.

  4. Choosing the template created, Confluence will load a page to insert the required fields.

  5. Clicking on Next after filling up the info will load a page with the variables inserted from the page above.

It's not exactly like the pop-up with the Jira report template, but it does allow us to insert variables we want.
Do let me know if this helps, Filip.

Cheers,

Why dont you implement/document the blueprint wizard for cloud for anyone else? Obviously it exists and you are using it for your own blueprints. It would be highly appreciated!
