The article https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/anchors-139442.html says that I need to create an anchor and then do some crazy text maipulation to actually have a link.
Notes about the full URL:
- The page name is repeated in the URL, after the # sign. The second occurrence of the page name is concatenated into a single word, with all spaces removed.
- There is a single dash (hyphen) between the concatenated page name and the anchor name.
- The anchor name in the full URL is concatenated into a single word, with all spaces removed.
- The anchor name is case sensitive.
Is there no easy way? Such as right clicking somewhere and get the link to that.
I am currently looking into the element and finding the ID and using that to make the URL. But this feels like a stupid thing to do.
Even better would be improving the create-link dialog to let you pick a page, then choose to show either:
...then the system would build the URL internally so we don't have to mess with it.
