How to change the date display in Questions Usage Statistics?

Is there a way to change the date display on the x axis for this Usage Statistics chart? Or space out the dates maybe? This is just impossible to read.... (Globally, I'm satisfied with how the dates are displaying on posts, etc.)

Also, how can I adjust the start date on this?

I think this is not possible at this point - you can vote/watch/comment on the resp. issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CQ-1873 to raise awareness for this usability flaw.
