Using the cloud-hosted version of the product, newly created pages are being sorted by date created and not alphabetically. I can manually go to the parent page and resort A-Z, but it was my understanding that this was default behavior on page creation.
Is there a place to configure default sorting to be A-Z for all newly created pages?
Hi Bart,
There was indeed a change we made recently to the default sort order of newly created pages in Confluence Cloud as intended.
I just started a community discussion thread about this in more details. Please learn more at Update to default sort order for newly created pages and leave any feedback you may have for us.
Warmly,
Elaine | Confluence Product Manager
Hi Bart,
You can change the sort order in the Space Tools as seen on Move, Copy, and Hide Pages.
However, there appears to be a bug right now where new pages are not following the set sort order.
If this is the issue you're running into, please feel free to vote on the request in order to show the number of users who are running into the problem.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Regards,
Shannon
