How to create business processes using Confluence?

Deleted user February 8, 2015

We always do several things several times, e.g. planning events and stuff. So it would be great to be able to create generic checklists for those events which we can offer our teams. E.g. "Checklist for Event Hosting", "Checklist for E-Mail Marketing Campaign" and so on.

Is there a way to provide such generic checklists? We thought about blueprints, but a single page is not that useful in our opinion. Better would be a checklist macro for example which can be postet at the specific page, maybe called "Event-checklist Macro". Is there such a way? And a way to make the editing of those checklists centralised?

Hi Lars,

Probably, the plugin we develop - ConfiForms, could help you to achieve what you need.

You can configure various types forms to capture user data (not limited to checklists, but a lot more).

Once configured it can be used on different pages, also supporting setting up the permissions per field and many more options.

Many options on presenting your captured data, and also quite a few integration hooks you can employ to make forms smarter

Can you show us an example of what your checklists look like? It really sounds like Templates can do what you want. If that really doesn't work, you could try making a "Template" space, fill it up with pages just like you need them, and then use one of the following add-ons to copy all the pages: * ScriptRunner for Confluence add-on (it has a copy page tree function) * Copy Page Tree add-on * Bob Swifts CLI actions add-on Otherwise if you have a web developer or if you have a budget for an expert someone can write a full-fledged blueprint that can do anything you can dream of.
